Job summary

CHI Lincoln is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our care team. You will support patient care, coordinate screenings, assist procedures, educate patients, and handle administrative tasks with tech-enabled efficiency.

You’ll greet patients, collect vitals, review medications, prepare specimens, and ensure exams rooms are stocked and clean. A compassionate, collaborative approach and commitment to ongoing learning are essential.

Qualifications

• Current CMA license that allows you to practice in our state.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments.
• Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly.

You will ensure patients feel at ease, patiently explaining instructions and addressing their concerns.

Pay Range

$18.06 - $25.51 /hour
