Job summary

Knapp Medical Group is seeking a disciplined Practice Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and directing business services within budget constraints while maintaining high quality patient care.

You will supervise staff, coordinate credentialing, time-keeping, evaluations, and interviews, and interact with patients and physicians to ensure smooth operations and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Three to five years work experience in an acute care facility or Healthcare practice.
• Three to five years of Supervisory or Management experience.
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Medicare, Medical, HMO/PPO, and W/C Billing & Collections required.
• Proficient with Computers, Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Knowledge of machines and equipment used in the Practice Management setting area.
• High School Diploma or GED required. Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Sexual Harassment training within 90 days of hire and bi-annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

The Practice Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and influencing Practice activities and the delivery of Business Services while maintaining continuous quality improvement. The Practice Manager maintains operations within budgetary parameters. Effectively interacts with patient, physicians, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional business conduct and service. The Practice Manager is accountable to the CFO / Director for the day-today management of personnel, including staffing, credential monitoring, time-keeping, employee evaluation, counseling, interview and selection of staff within established KMG and regulatory guidelines The Practice Manager spends 80% + of his/her time is spent on the aforementioned management activities.
