Job summary

Santa Rosa Community Health is seeking a Medical Assistant Team Lead to oversee the clinic session, assist providers and patients, and serve as a peer trainer for MA staff. The role focuses on balancing workflow during shifts and advancing CARE principles in daily practice.

The Team Lead will participate in cross-site projects, support MA I/II duties, and help ensure efficient clinic operations while maintaining patient confidentiality and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program.
• 12 months of MA experience at SRCH.
• Fluent in English and another required patient access language.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinic session as MA Team Lead and balance workflow during shifts.
• Assist medical providers, MAs, and patients.
• Train MA I and MA II staff; complete competency check-offs.
• Participate in cross-disciplinary or cross-site projects to advance the strategic plan.
• Other duties as assigned.
