Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates seeks a Medical Assistant / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support providers in patient care and maintain efficient clinic flow. The role covers clinical and clerical duties, including immunizations, phlebotomy, rooming, and front-desk support, across diverse patient populations.

Candidates should hold a medical assisting credential (ABHES/CAAHEP) or an RMA-equivalent, possess current BLS, and have clinical experience.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or RMA-equivalent certification.
• Current BLS certification required and must be provided.
• Clinical experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist providers with patient management and treatment.
• Perform patient rooming and standard intake procedures.
• Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed by the provider and within the applicable scope of practice.
• Collect laboratory specimens and perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Perform clinic laboratory tests.
• Provide telephone support and facilitate communication between patients and providers.
• Assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations.
• Perform front desk and patient check-in duties as needed.
• Order and stock clinical supplies.
• Perform X-ray duties if qualified and authorized.
• Communicate patient progress, concerns, and questions to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with clinic supervisors, managers, and providers to support daily operations and patient care goals.
