Job summary

Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) for a 35-hour-per-week float position serving LeMars, Remsen, Marcus and Urgent Care Clinics. You will provide patient care, take vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and support physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN in Iowa or CMA certification.
• BLS certification required.

• Work 35 hours per week with one day off.

Position Highlights

Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a position open float position within our LeMars, Remsen, Marcus and Urgent Care Clinics. This position will work 35 hours per week and will be a License Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA). Floyd Valley offers a positive culture that supports a healthy work-life balance. LPN or MA Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of the physician, assist in patient care.
• Obtain vital signs, blood pressures, height and weights and record information.
• Perform phlebotomy and simple lab functions.
• 35 hours per week with a variable one day off per week.
• Occasional weekend or evening.

License Requirements

Licensed as a LPN or certified Medical Assistant in Iowa. BLS certification is required as an employee. Mandatory Reporter training certification is required as an employee.
