Job summary

Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA is seeking a Home Health Registered Nurse to support patients in their homes. The role emphasizes ADL assistance, mobility, wound care, and ongoing assessment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Home Health patients in their home with ADLs such as bathing, hair care, oral hygiene, skin care, ostomy care, dressing, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Monitor patient condition, report changes to the RN, and coordinate care with family and providers.

Home Health RN Responsibilities

• Assist Home Health patients in their home with ADL's including bathing, hair care, oral hygiene, skin care, cleaning of ostomy sites, foot soaks, application of medicated emollients as described on the patients plan of care, range of motion exercises as prescribed on patients plan of care, dressing, transfers, application of support garmets, obtaining weights, Catheter care, application of specific skin barriers or simple dressings and reporting to RN.

Requirements

• BLS a plus; certification is required as an employee.
• Mandatory Reporter training certificate a plus; certification is required as an employee.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
