Job summary

Samaritan Health Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support outpatient clinics on a float basis across Pediatric, Family, Internal Medicine and specialty care teams in Oregon.

You will assist practitioners, process telephone prescriptions and test results, maintain patient records, and deliver safe nursing care under supervision.

Eligible employees receive a float differential of $3.00 per hour in addition to base pay.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon LPN licensure required.
• Healthcare Provider BLS required.
• Previous clinical setting experience preferred.
• Lab/EKG experience preferred.

As a Float within Samaritan Medical Group outpatient clinics, you'll have the unique opportunity to support all outpatient service lines. JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

• Assists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient record and relaying test results. Provides safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor within scope of practice.

• The Primary and Specialty care teams at Samaritan Health Services offer complete health care for all family members from newborns to seniors through their pediatric, family medicine, internal medicine and specialty care providers. They encourage and offer preventive care, including annual exams, health screenings and counseling regarding health and lifestyle.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

• Current unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required.
• Healthcare Provider BLS required.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Lab/EKG experience preferred.
