Samaritan Health Services' Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Primary Care within the GSR Family Medicine department. The nurse will assist practitioners, handle telephone orders and patient records, and deliver safe nursing care in a clinic setting.

The position offers a Day shift (80 hrs/pp) in a primary care clinic, with potential starting bonus or relocation assistance.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Assists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient record and relaying test results. Provides safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor within scope of practice.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

The Samaritan Family Medicine Residency Clinic (SFMRC) offers complete health care for patients and families across the spectrum of life, from newborns to seniors. The foundation of primary care is to build enduring and continuity focused relationships with patients to promote better health. SFMRC consists of board certified family medicine physicians and resident physicians at various stages of their post graduate training. This clinic provides acute/same day care, chronic disease management, preventative care, women's health, general pediatric care, office based procedures, and pre/post-natal care that aligns with the clinical competencies required by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

Current unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required.

Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Lab/EKG experience preferred.
