Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support providers in an outpatient clinic setting in Buffalo, MN. The role involves patient care, rooming, information gathering, and coordination of follow-up visits. Oncology experience is preferred but not required.

Starting bonus of $2,000 is available for eligible external talent. 0.7 FTE (56 hours per 2 weeks) with 8-hour day/evening shifts and no weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree from a Board of Nursing approved LPN program.
• Two years clinic LPN experience (preferred).
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross, or Allina in-house BLS training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care support as delegated by Provider or RN.
• Rooms patients, manages patient flow and obtains patient medical information/data.
• Receives or initiates patient phone calls and arranges appointments as needed.
• Processes physician orders and ensures test results and therapies are available for visits.
