Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy in Jericho, NY is seeking a Clinic Support Associate for immediate, long-term employment. You will support front desk operations and assist clinicians with patient care, ensuring a welcoming experience for every patient.

Hours are Monday-Friday 8-4:30. You will schedule, enter data in EMR, process payments, and help patients during therapy while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records and a clean, organized clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred, with familiarity in EMR systems a plus.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service-oriented role is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Suite is required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers, co-workers, and management, while calmly and effectively resolving client concerns.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes patients and visitors with a warm, inviting demeanor, answering inquiries and checking in patients.
• Delivers high level of customer service by ensuring patient satisfaction and optimizing provider time.
• Manages scheduling operations with focus on growth and maximizing provider availability.
• Maintains on-time patient flow by notifying clinicians of arrivals and delays.
• Receives and processes incoming faxes promptly for timely communication.
• Performs accurate data entry into the EMR system (treatment plans, updates).
• Generates reports and logs with high accuracy, including financial reconciliations and patient retention tracking.
