Job summary

Columbia Basin Health Association (CBHA) is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and appearance of clinic buildings and grounds, support building security, and transport items among CBHA sites. The role involves operating snow/ice removal equipment, basic maintenance, and driving CBHA vehicles.

The position offers a pay range of $18.55 to $21.80 per hour depending on experience, with opportunities to progress for highly experienced candidates.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Basic knowledge of janitorial and maintenance processes learned on the job.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned work areas efficiently and effectively.
• Assist with heavy loads as needed.
• Perform basic maintenance repairs (bulb replacement, paint touch-ups, minor plumbing and carpentry).
• Assist with building security and fire alarms, respond to emergencies, after-hours calls are directed.
• Drive and maintain company vehicles.
• Punctual mail/pickup delivery between sites and off-site storage.
