Family Health Centers in Twisp, WA is seeking a Clinic Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across our healthcare facility, ensuring a hygienic environment for patients and staff.

The role requires 1+ year of commercial cleaning, knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards, and physical stamina to lift up to 40 lbs; benefits include health and life insurance, PTO, retirement 3% match, and holiday pay.

Competenze

• Experience: 1+ years of commercial cleaning or custodial experience required.
• Prior experience in a medical clinic, hospital, or dental office is highly preferred.
• Knowledge: Understanding of infection control, chemical safety (SDS), and OSHA standards is a major plus.
• Physical Stamina: Stand/walk for long periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs.

• Infection Control: Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous waste, sharps, and regular trash following OSHA and clinic guidelines.

• Inventory Management: Monitor and restock clinic supplies (soap, paper towels, PPE, cleaning chemicals) and notify management when supplies are low.

Key Responsibilities

As our Clinic Custodian, you will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety throughout our facility. Your daily impact will include:

Sanitizing Medical Spaces: Clean, disinfect, and maintain exam rooms, waiting areas, laboratories, and restrooms according to healthcare sanitation standards.

Infection Control: Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous waste, sharps, and regular trash following OSHA and clinic guidelines.

Floor & Surface Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all common areas and administrative offices.

Inventory Management: Monitor and restock clinic supplies (soap, paper towels, PPE, cleaning chemicals) and notify management when supplies are low.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure all walkways are clear of hazards and report any maintenance issues (leaks, broken fixtures) immediately.

Qualifications & Skills
