Job summary

Family Health Centers in Twisp, WA is seeking a Clinic Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across our healthcare facility, ensuring a hygienic environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years of commercial cleaning or custodial experience required.
• Prior experience in a medical clinic, hospital, or dental office is highly preferred.
• Knowledge: Understanding of infection control, chemical safety (SDS), and OSHA standards is a major plus.
• Physical Stamina: Stand/walk for long periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize, disinfect, and maintain exam rooms, waiting areas, laboratories, and restrooms.
• Infection Control: Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous waste, sharps, and regular trash following OSHA and clinic guidelines.
• Floor & Surface Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all common areas and administrative offices.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and restock clinic supplies (soap, paper towels, PPE, cleaning chemicals) and notify management when supplies are low.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure walkways are clear of hazards and report maintenance issues immediately.
