Job summary

University of Central Florida’s Department of Psychology seeks a director to oversee the in-house Psychology Clinic that provides assessment and psychotherapy to adults in the Central Florida community with a sliding-scale fee. The role supervises graduate students and clinic staff, ensures privacy and records compliance, and coordinates referrals and teletherapy when appropriate.

Qualifications

• A doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Completion of an APA-accredited internship or closely related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise graduate students in clinical practicum.
• Direct clinic operations and supervise clinic staff.
• Oversee use of clinical records software and release of information requests.
• Maintain security of private health information.
• Provide coverage for clinical emergencies during operating hours.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referring agencies.
• Lead initiatives to improve the clinic.
