Job summary

CHI Health Clinic is seeking an entry-level Clinic Coder I to support our Revenue Cycle with accurate abstracting and coding of patient records. You will apply ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 rules to assign MS-DRGs and APCs, ensuring timely, precise coding for optimal reimbursement.

Responsibilities include reviewing records, entering charges, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with the Coding Manager to ensure compliant billing and data integrity across departments.

• Collaborate with Coding Manager to rectify accounts and ensure compliant billing.
