Qualifications

• Must hold one of the listed professional coding certifications.
• Experience with ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding rules.
• Knowledge of MS-DRG and APC assignments and ethical medical billing.

Responsibilities

• Abstract and code patient records in line with coding guidelines.
• Review medical records to assign accurate diagnoses and procedures.
• Validate charges against documentation and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with management to ensure correct account rectification and compliance.
