Job summary

Adventist Health Simi Valley seeks a clinical support assistant to provide non-invasive, routine services under licensed supervision. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, gather demographics and billing details, and handle front-desk clerical tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Under supervision, you may assist with vitals, basic testing, chart preparation, insurance verification, and referrals, ensuring accurate records and a positive patient experience in a busy primary care

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent required.
• CMA/RMA or equivalent preferred; BLS required.
• Audiometry/vision training or CHDP certificate within six months preferred.
• Phlebotomy certificate preferred.
• BLS certification required by Adventist Health policy.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct visitors and provide clerical support.
• Schedule patient appointments and obtain demographic/billing information.
• Verify insurance and assist with billing processes in computer systems.
• Prepare charts, process forms, and maintain department records.
• Maintain supplies, assist with basic patient tests, and coordinate referrals.
