Job summary

Spread Your Wings Inc. seeks a Billing/Payroll Specialist to support medical billing and administrative tasks in a fast-paced mental health practice. Based at the Sacramento main office, with occasional travel to other branches, this role reports to the Accounting Manager and carries non-remote duties.

You should have at least one year of office experience and accounting/bookkeeping skills; familiarity with electronic health records and QuickBooks is a plus. DOJ background check required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of office experience (filing, calls, emails).
• 1+ year of accounting/bookkeeping experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks and QB-like systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance team to review, reconcile, monitor, and confirm payments and invoices.
• Provide tracking and monitoring reports to Accounting Manager and executives on request.
• Attend team meetings and record minutes.
• Perform general office duties (filing, records management, etc.).
• Assist with payroll and invoicing oversight and reconciliation.
