SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) seeks a Mental Health Professional I - Clinic Based at Berkeley Community Mental Health Center in Moncks Corner, SC. The role provides recovery-oriented counseling and case management under supervision.

You will work in clinic, community, or patient homes; maintain documentation and collaborate with teams. Bilingual abilities are a plus. Position may be essential and called in during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in guidance, counseling, social work, or related field meeting licensure eligibility (LPC, LMFT, LISW-CP).
• Licensure eligibility for LPC, LMFT, or LISW-CP is required or strongly preferred.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
• Position is essential and may be called in during emergencies or disasters.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery-oriented counseling and related behavioral healthcare services, and/or case management in clinic, community, or patient homes.
• Document services under QA standards; complete Plans of Care, Progress Summaries, Safety Plans, and collaborative documentation.
• Build and maintain relationships with patients, staff, and community partners; participate in meetings and interagency staffing.
• Comply with corporate and state policies; support CARF accreditation efforts.
• Pursue professional development and maintain required certifications and licenses.
