Job summary

State of South Carolina is seeking a Mental Health Professional I - Clinic Based at the Berkeley Community Mental Health Center in Moncks Corner to provide recovery-oriented counseling and case management. The role will deliver services in clinic, community, and patient homes, with emphasis on person-centered care and collaborative documentation.

The position requires a master’s degree and licensure eligibility. Bilingual abilities are a plus, and ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required and licensure eligibility (LPC/LMFT/LISW-CP).
• Experience in counseling, case management, and crisis planning.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery-oriented counseling and related behavioral healthcare services in clinic, community, and/or patient homes.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and safety plans per QA requirements.
• Build positive relationships with patients, staff, and community partners to facilitate service linkages.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and accreditation requirements and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Maintain licensure and certifications as applicable.
