Job summary

SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities seeks a Mental Health Professional I - Clinic Based to provide recovery-oriented counseling and related services at the Berkeley Community Mental Health Center in Moncks Corner, SC. The role may involve clinic, community, and patient-home services under supervision.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, crisis management, individual/group/family therapy, and case coordination, with documentation in QA systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in guidance, counseling, social work or related field that meets licensure eligibility.
• Eligible for LPC, LMFT, or LISW-CP licensure.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery-oriented counseling and related behavioral healthcare services and/or case management.
• Deliver services in clinic, community, and/or patient homes; include assessment, treatment planning, crisis management, therapy, and case coordination.
• Document services per QA and required standards (Plans of Care, Progress Summaries, Safety Plans, Collaborative Documentation).
• Build and maintain relationships with patients, staff, and community partners to facilitate linkages to services.
• Maintain required certifications and licenses; pursue ongoing professional development.
