Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Southern New England is seeking a Full Time Clinic Assistant to join the New Haven Health Center front desk team. You will support clinicians, provide patient-centered service, and help maintain efficient daily operations.

The role includes data entry, basic office tasks, and comfort discussing sexuality and reproductive health; evenings/weekends preferred; wage shown is $24.46–$28.13 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable discussing sexuality, contraception, STDs and pregnancy options.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information with diplomacy and tact.

Responsibilities

• Provides and supports clinicians in delivering quality healthcare services at the front desk.
• Provides excellent client-centered customer service; keeps the patient as the focus of decisions.
• Performs basic office functions: reception, telephone triage, stocking supplies, filing, billing and coding.
