Planned Parenthood of Southern New England is seeking a Full Time Clinic Assistant to join our Enfield Health Center team in the back office. The role supports clinicians in delivering world-class reproductive health care and high-quality patient service.

The position requires comfort discussing sexuality and pregnancy options, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Hours include mornings, evenings, and weekends with a starting hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Comfortable discussing sexuality, contraception, STDs and pregnancy options
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle confidential information with diplomacy and tact
• Strong client-centered service mindset
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends

Responsibilities

• Provides and supports the clinician in delivering high-quality healthcare services
• Delivers excellent client-centered service with the client as the focus of decisions
• Supports productivity and revenue cycle goals in health center operations
• Collaborates with center manager and clinician to optimize processes
• Follows organizational and clinical standards, policies, and protocols
• Provides patient education and information relevant to visits
• Performs basic clinical tasks (blood pressure, venipuncture, lab work, charting)
• Performs front-office functions (reception, triage, stocking, filing, billing)
