Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Clinic Aide to help maintain a smooth flow of patients in clinic, keep exam rooms ready, and support staff with daily tasks. You will stock and rotate supplies, assist with phone calls and scheduling, and help create a safe, clean environment for care delivery.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and a patient, team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and turns over exam rooms and promotes a safe, clean, and organized environment for the delivery of care.
  • Supports the unit environmental needs by maintaining cleanliness in waiting areas and shared spaces.
  • Assembles clinic supplies and completes supply stocking in patient exam rooms.
  • Rotates supplies to minimize expired products.
  • Assists with phone calls and scheduling as appropriate.
  • Performs clerical duties as assigned.
  • Supports supervised patient care as appropriate.

The Clinic Aide helps maintain a smooth and efficient flow of patients in clinic, performs functions delegated by department staff and maintains and promotes a safe, clean, and organized environment for the delivery of care.

Essential Functions
  • Prepares and turns over exam rooms and promotes a safe, clean, and organized environment for the delivery of care.
  • Supports the unit environmental needs by maintaining cleanliness in the waiting room, shared workroom spaces, and conference rooms.
  • Assembles clinic specific supplies.
  • Completes supply stocking in patient exam rooms.
  • Rotates supplies out to minimize expired products.
  • Assists with phone calls and scheduling as appropriate.
  • Performs clerical duties as assigned.
  • Supports supervised patient care as appropriate.
Education
  • High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to follow simple, routine instructions.
  • Effective verbal, written and/or interpersonal communication skills.
