Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Clinic Aide to help maintain a smooth and efficient flow of patients in the pediatric clinic. You will perform tasks delegated by staff while promoting a safe, clean, and orderly environment for delivering care.

The role involves room preparation, upkeep of waiting areas, supplying clinics, stocking exam rooms, assisting with calls and scheduling, and performing clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED/HSED is required.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are desired.
• Ability to respond to basic customer requests with patience and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and turns over exam rooms and promotes a safe, clean, and organized environment for the delivery of care.
• Supports the unit environmental needs by maintaining cleanliness in the waiting room, shared workroom spaces, and conference rooms.
• Assembles clinic specific supplies.
• Completes supply stocking in patient exam rooms.
• Rotates supplies out to minimize expired products.
• Assists with phone calls and scheduling as appropriate.
• Performs clerical duties as assigned.
• Supports supervised patient care as appropriate.

Job Summary

Essential Functions

• Prepares and turns over exam rooms and promotes a safe, clean, and organized environment for the delivery of care.
• Supports the unit environmental needs by maintaining cleanliness in the waiting room, shared workroom spaces, and conference rooms.

Education

• High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required.

• Ability to follow simple, routine instructions.
• Effective verbal, written and/or interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to respond to basic customer requests with patience and enthusiasm; understand the needs of customers and elevate issues when appropriate.
