  • Maintains cleanliness in the waiting room, shared workroom spaces, and conference rooms.
  • Assembles clinic supplies.
  • Completes supply stocking in patient exam rooms.
  • Rotates supplies to minimize expiration of products.
  • Assists with phone calls and scheduling as appropriate.
  • Performs clerical duties as assigned.
  • Supports supervised patient care as appropriate.

Job Summary

The Clinic Aide helps maintain a smooth and efficient flow of patients in clinic, performs functions delegated by department staff and maintains and promotes a safe, clean, and organized environment for the delivery of care.

Essential Functions
  • Prepares and turns over exam rooms and promotes a safe, clean, and organized environment for the delivery of care.
  • Supports the unit environmental needs by maintaining cleanliness in the waiting room, shared workroom spaces, and conference rooms.
  • Assembles clinic specific supplies.
  • Completes supply stocking in patient exam rooms.
  • Rotates supplies out to minimize expired products.
  • Assists with phone calls and scheduling as appropriate.
  • Performs clereical duties as assigned.
  • Supports supervised patient care as appropriate.
Education:
  • High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to follow simple, routine instructions.
  • Effective verbal, written and/or interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to respond to basic customer requests with patience and enthusiasm; understand the needs of customers and elevate issues when appropriate
