Job summary

Salt Lake Bouldering Project, LLC is seeking a part-time Facilities Technician to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming space at The Granary in SLC. You will support HVAC tasks, ground maintenance, and general upkeep while ensuring an exceptional member experience.

This role involves building relationships with guests, performing basic repairs, and assisting with special events. The schedule averages 8–10 hours per week with potential for additional hours.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, cleaning, operating equipment, ladders, and working on unstable surfaces.
• Comfort working in loud environments.
• Experience using power tools.
• Visual acuity to perform detailed tasks.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular HVAC maintenance duties including filter maintenance and changes.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility.
• Proactively address member needs and maintain a clean, inviting space.
• Assist with larger scale operations and capital facilities projects.
• Execute basic facility maintenance and minor repair tasks.
• Clean exterior grounds.
• Have friendly customer relationships and direct customers to team members.
• Respond to accidents and incidents following BP safety protocols.
• Complete incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with Facilities Manager and team to ensure an excellent member experience.
