The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a climbing arborist trainee to join our on-site team in Warminster, PA. You will learn climbing, pruning, and removal techniques while building skills on industry-standard equipment in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Background in forestry, horticulture, landscaping, or working at heights.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Learn to climb trees and operate as a member of a tree crew.
• Learn to perform tree pruning and removal safely and skillfully for clients.
• Learn tree identification and pruning guidelines; install cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems.
• Assist in removal of hazardous trees and maintain tools and equipment.
