Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a climbing arborist in Soquel, CA. The role focuses on trimming and removing trees, removing diseased limbs, and performing duties to ensure tree health and safety on client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience performing arboreal pruning and removal.
• Ability to complete safety orientations and first aid/CPR as required.
• Preferred licenses/certificates related to pesticides or state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Trim and prune trees and remove diseased or dying limbs.
• Install cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Work as part of a ground crew and follow crew leader instructions.
