Job summary
The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a climbing arborist for on-site pruning and removal services in Colma, CA. The role involves climbing trees, working with a crew, and performing safe, skillful tree care including pruning, removal, cable and brace installations, and hazard removal.

Qualifications
- Love of the outdoors.
- Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights.
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
- Ability to complete Davey First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
- Preferred: Relevant pesticide licenses and certificates if state law requires it.
Responsibilities
- Climb Trees using Davey climbing systems (DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS).
- Operate as an active crew member with ground crew and crew leader.
- Perform pruning and removal services safely and skillfully for clients.
- Prune, thin and remove deadwood throughout the canopy.
- Install cables, bracing and lightning protection systems.
- Remove hazardous trees and maintain all tools and equipment.
