Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors is essential.
• Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights is preferred.
• Must complete Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program on hire.
• Must complete Davey First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course on hire.
• Pesticide licenses/certificates are preferred if required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees and prune to improve health and safety.
• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS systems.
• Operate and work with ground crew to perform pruning and removal services.
• Install cables, bracing, and lightning protection where needed.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
