The Davey Tree Expert Company in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a dynamic Climbing Arborist to join our team of tree care professionals. Your office is outdoors, and you’ll have a new view every day as you help maintain and improve the health of trees and landscapes.

Qualifications

• Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights.
• Completion of Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Completion of Davey First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide licenses (state dependent).
• Strongly preferred: Class A or B CDL.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees and limbs to improve health and safety.
• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Work with ground crew and crew leader to perform pruning and removal safely.
• Prune, thin, and remove deadwood; install cables/bracing; remove hazardous trees.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, lifts.
