Join us as a Climbing Arborist Crew Leader at The Davey Tree Expert Company

We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead our tree care team. This role involves directing crew members and equipment, planning, and executing various arboricultural tasks.

Position Details

• Location: Various locations across the US; on-site work required
• Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Travel: Up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Lead tree climbing operations utilizing DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS systems
• Ensure safety and efficiency in providing arboricultural care
• Perform tasks such as pruning, removal of deadwood, installing cables and lightning protection, and hazardous tree removal
• Mentor team members through the Davey Career Development Program
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment responsibly

Qualifications

• Passion for the outdoors
• Completion of Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation, First Aid, CPR, and defensive driving courses upon hire
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide licenses and certifications; ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Certified Tree Worker, or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional
