What You’ll Do

• Lead a dedicated crew, fostering a positive team environment
• Interpret tree trimming, removal, and spraying orders from the General Foreman or customer representative
• Plan daily work considering time, equipment, weather, and customer permissions
• Conduct Pre-Job Hazard Surveys and assign tasks based on crew members’ skills
• Perform tree trimming, removal, and line clearing duties, including climbing and bucket work near power lines
• Maintain tools and equipment, and dispose of debris responsibly
• Apply spray chemicals safely, protecting desirable vegetation
• Ensure safety protocols are followed to protect employees and the public

What You’ll Need

• At least two years of experience in tree trimming/climbing around utility lines
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of trees, arboriculture techniques, and electrical line symbols
• Experience with climbing, knot tying, PPE, and physical labor
• Ability to operate equipment and endure extreme weather conditions
• Willingness to obtain necessary certifications and licenses, including First Aid, CPR, and driver’s license or CDL
