Job summary

Metropolitan Transportation Authority seeks a Senior Manager, Climate Resilience Planning to lead the development and execution of climate resilience strategies across capital projects, with emphasis on NYCT assets. You will coordinate with senior staff, manage complex analyses, and develop tools to prioritize resilience investments while representing MTA policies with stakeholders.

You will oversee multiple studies, supervise consultants, and craft data-driven plans that integrate climate risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Engineering, Public Administration, Environmental Sciences, Transportation, or related field.
• Must have a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience, preferably in transportation or climate resilience planning.
• Must have a minimum of four (4) years in the management of large projects or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Advance the MTA's 5-year capital program and development of longer-term needs with climate resilience focus.
• Update Climate Vulnerability Assessment and integrate latest data into capital documents.
• Develop and manage climate resilience proposals, scopes, budgets, and work plans.
• Supervise consultants and ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with priorities.
• Develop and use data analytics and planning tools to inform resilience investments.
