Job summary

Tradewater seeks an Environmental Program Associate to support refrigerant collection across the U.S. The role requires 30–50% travel and planning trips with the sourcing team, handling inquiries, and pipeline support for SSA efforts.

Based near a major airport, preferably Chicago, you will drive regional initiatives, manage data, and ensure DOT/EPA compliance through collaborations with teams nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2–3+ years relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel within the United States (roughly 30%).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and CRMs.
• Excellent attention to detail and paperwork accuracy.
• Willingness to handle refrigerants and follow DOT/HazMat regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams to implement sales and collection strategies.
• Stay updated on market trends and report to leadership.
• Set regional targets with manager.
• Generate and manage leads through multiple channels and move them through the pipeline.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and ensure timely responses.
• Assess collection strategies and report outcomes for optimal performance.
