Job summary

Third Way seeks a Philanthropy Manager to grow a donor portfolio for the Climate & Energy program. You’ll draft proposals, donor reports, and materials, while coordinating with the Senior Director of Philanthropy to align funding opportunities with program goals.

You will manage donor communications, stewardship plans, and events, while identifying prospects and collaborating with leadership to advance climate initiatives. Hybrid work in DC area with competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of fundraising, grants management, or related experience.
• Ability to write clearly on complex topics for non-experts.
• Interest in major gift fundraising program.

Responsibilities

• Develop donor proposals, reports, and pitch materials.
• Produce donor-facing materials and ensure consistent branding.
• Grow and manage a dynamic donor portfolio with stewardship plans.
• Identify new funding prospects and cultivate relationships.
• Plan and run donor events and communications.
