Job summary

Third Way’s Climate and Energy Program (CEP) is seeking a Director of Communications to shape and execute the program’s messaging and narrative in the United States. You will lead a talented team, oversee all earned, social, and paid media, and manage public opinion research, while producing policy papers and research.

The role collaborates with senior leaders to drive a data-driven, technology-inclusive clean energy agenda and must cultivate diverse stakeholder relationships across campaigns,

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of progressively responsible communications, public affairs, media, or advocacy experience, including strategy development and staff management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement CEP communications strategy and content calendar for high-impact products, polling, and media outreach.
• Oversee earned, social, and paid media efforts and manage partnerships with media and advocates.
• Lead internal and external messaging, ensure consistency across CEP publications, and guide staff development.
