Job summary

INNOVIM is seeking a program communications specialist to support NOAA’s AdSci and RISA offices from Silver Spring, MD. The role combines content creation for the program website, knowledge management, and coordination of meetings, webinars, and outreach.

You will liaise with NOAA communications, organize panels, track project progress, and develop materials that communicate research outcomes to stakeholders and the public.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating communications and outreach for public programs.
• Ability to manage website content and update program materials.
• Strong knowledge management and tracking for projects and reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the AdSci/CSI interface with CPO communications.
• Develop, manage, and update program website content for public communication.
• Communicate and facilitate integration of research results into NOAA priorities.
• Provide knowledge management and tracking for program development activities.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute meetings, webinars, and workshops with logistics.
• Facilitate grant proposal reviews and track funded research progress.
• Maintain comprehensive records of projects and outcomes.
• Collaborate with CSI, CPO, and other offices to coordinate activities.
• Create program materials, newsletters, and impact stories for broad audiences.
• Organize RISA outreach, conferences, and events with pre/post meeting summaries.
