Job summary

INNOVIM seeks a Communications and Program Administrator to support NOAA’s OAR Climate Program Office AdSci/CSI initiatives, based in Silver Spring, MD. Remote/hybrid work is available with in-person as required.

You will develop content for the program’s website, coordinate meetings and webinars, and help integrate CSI-funded research into priority NOAA activities while tracking progress and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Job description

INNOVIM is seeking support for NOAA’s Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR) Climate Program Office (CPO) Climate and Societal Interactions Adaptation Sciences (AdSci) office.

Location: Based out of Silver Spring, MD

Remote/Telework: Remote (Hybrid and in-person as required)

The candidate will:

• Serve as the AdSci and CSI interface with CPO’s communications team.
• Develop, manage, and update content for the program’s website to better communicate the program’s activities and research outcomes with the public.
• Communicate and facilitate the integration of CSI-funded investigators’ research results into priority NOAA activities and products.
• Provide knowledge management and other tracking functions for program development and management activities.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute meetings, webinars, workshops, and other communications and engagement activities, including pre-meeting logistics, scheduling, preparation, agenda development and post-meeting summaries, and action tracking.
• Organize and facilitate grant proposal review panels, and monitor funded research project progress by collecting, reviewing, and archiving project reports. Coordinate, arrange, and track the disbursement of honoraria.
• Track and administer funded research projects by maintaining comprehensive and accurate records tracking and reporting project accomplishments and evolving partner priorities and capabilities.
• Collaborate within CSI, CPO, and other relevant offices to integrate research and coordinate activities, including meetings and communication.
