Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Client Systems Support Specialist for a hybrid contract role in Somerset, NJ. You will provide technical support and troubleshooting software, connectivity, and customer service for our clients.

Responsibilities include 2nd level support, researching and testing 3rd party devices, handling calls and emails, and coordinating with other specialists to resolve issues while maintaining detailed case notes in the tracking system.

• Support customers and internal staff on software and compatible products
• Support customers and internal staff on connectivity devices and 3rd party devices as they relate to connectivity with products
• Provide 2nd level support to consumers on connectivity devices and 3rd party devices as they relate to connectivity with products
• Research and test 3rd party devices for compatibility
• Handle customer and consumer calls and emails
• Software and hardware troubleshooting, announcement of system outages, basic system administration, in-depth assistance on supported software applications, problem tracking/follow-up, and delegation to other specialists for additional assistance
• Input all calls into call tracking software
• Collect and relay software information, technical problems and suggestions for improvement
• Manage incident escalations, crisis calls, and monitors questions ensuring appropriate responsiveness to customer requests/issues.

TEKsystems is currently hiring for a client systems specialist for a hybrid contract role with a client in Somerset, NJ. This role will be technical support and troubleshooting software and connectivity of products, as well as customer service. Applicants with prior customer support experience are encouraged to apply.

Description

The Client Systems Support Specialist will provide help desk support for customers on internal software, compatible programming devices, and Bluetooth connectivity products. Support Specialists also research and test 3rd party devices for compatibility with products.

• Support customers and internal staff on software and compatible products
• Support customers and internal staff on connectivity devices and 3rd party devices as they relate to connectivity with products
• Provide 2nd level support to consumers on connectivity devices and 3rd party devices as they relate to connectivity with products
• Research and test 3rd party devices for compatibility
• Handle customer and consumer calls and emails

Additional Details

• Monday-Friday
• 11:30am-8pm schedule
• Hybrid work environment- MWF remote, T/TH onsite
• 3 month contract with possibility for extension/conversion

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Somerset, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
