Job summary

Franklin Fitch is seeking a Client Systems Manager in Boston (Hybrid) to lead a team responsible for the technology supporting client-facing, sales and distribution functions. The role combines leadership with hands-on development oversight and close collaboration with senior stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a development background, strong leadership experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions across a blended tech landscape including

Qualifications

Proven experience leading software engineers or developers.
Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage and develop a team of software developers and technical resources.
Provide technical leadership across client and distribution technology.
Oversee design, development and delivery of new applications and integrations.
Partner with Sales, Marketing and other stakeholders to prioritise technology needs.
Translate business needs into clear priorities for technical teams.
Own the roadmap and evolution of key client-facing systems.
Support Salesforce and Seismic within the applications ecosystem.
Drive strong software engineering practices across the team.
Manage third-party tech partners and vendors as needed.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation and capabilities.
Ensure platform stability, governance, security and compliance.
