Job summary

ATC Healthcare Services seeks a compassionate Client Support Worker for a 24/7 IDD residential facility in Jackson, GA. You will supervise residents, monitor behaviors, and assist with medications, transport, and daily tasks in a supportive, HIPAA-conscious environment.

Expect a shift pattern of 4:00 PM–12:00 AM or 12:00 AM–8:00 AM, with pay of $14.40/hour plus shift differentials. We value teamwork, empathy, and ongoing professional growth within a respectful workplace.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Georgia driver’s license.
• Experience working with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities preferred.
• Fingerprint-based background check for Georgia and Federal history.
• Drug screen and seven-year Motor Vehicle Report required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision within a 24-hour IDD residential facility.
• Observe and monitor individuals' behaviors.
• Supervise medication administration with high accuracy.
• Provide transportation as needed.
• Perform light cleaning duties and report repairs.
• Document and complete required reports.
• Ensure safety and whereabouts of clients at all times.
• Attend, prepare for, and participate in staff meetings.
• Maintain a valid driver's license for agency vehicle operation.
• Complete all annual training and adhere to policies.
• Understand individual behaviors/symptoms and intervene as needed.
• Monitor whereabouts and assignments, diffusing challenging situations.

Job Description:

• Provide direct supervision within a 24-hour IDD Residential Facility
• Observe and monitor individuals' behaviors
• Supervise medication administration with 100% accuracy
• Provide transportation as needed
• Perform light cleaning duties (sweeping, dusting, mopping) and report needed repairs
• Document and complete reports as required
• Ensure the safety and whereabouts of clients at all times
• Attend, prepare for, and actively participate in staff meetings
• Maintain a valid driver's license for agency vehicle operation
• Complete all annual training and comply with company policies
• Demonstrate understanding of and willingness to learn individual behaviors/symptoms
• Effectively monitor and maintain awareness of individual's whereabouts and assignments
• Intervene and diffuse potentially challenging situations using positive reinforcement
• Adhere to agency, HIPAA, and Federal confidentiality policies
• Demonstrate knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care

Job Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License
• Experience working with the individuals Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (Preferred)
• Fingerprint Based Background Check of the Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record
• Drug Screen
• Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for seven years
• Current Auto Insurance
• High school or equivalent (Required)
