Job summary

Barrett Distribution Centers is seeking a Client Support Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service, identify root causes of issues, and coordinate timely resolutions between warehouse operations and customers. Reporting to the Client Support Manager, you will manage inbound/outbound paperwork, data entry, billing, and order status across the end-to-end process.

The role runs 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, with pay at $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years college required.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ business experience required.
• Experience must demonstrate knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
• Basic knowledge of routing and working with carriers (logistics) and compliance accounts preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Salesforce and an understanding of warehouse management systems preferred.
• Must demonstrate the ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred).
• Proficient in all Microsoft business applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned customers; maintain proactive communication and timely resolution of issues between warehouse operations and customers.
• Accurately process inbound/outbound paperwork, data entry, and reconciliations; address special requests.
• Invoice customers accurately and on time for all billing types; maintain billing files.
• Monitor order fulfillment end-to-end across warehouse and customer touchpoints.
• Ensure customer SLAs and compliance requirements are met; route orders and schedule carriers.
• Run and review NCRs in Salesforce; resolve discrepancies in records and reports.
• Participate in new customer onboarding and process improvement reviews.
• Maintain and update Work Instructions and customer-facing correspondence regularly.
