Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW Reporting to the Director of Event Operations, the Client Support Specialist in Events Technology is Momentive's primary frontline resource for clients using our events technology and AV systems. This is a hybrid role that blends remote technical support, periodic onsite client training, and in-office equipment testing — ensuring clients have a seamless experience before, during, and after their events. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong client relationships, and brings a passion for technology in the live events and production space.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Remote Client Support Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries related to events technology, AV systems, and software platforms via phone, email, and ticketing systems. Diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely in a timely and professional manner. Maintain detailed records of support interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions. Escalate complex issues to internal technical teams when necessary and follow through to resolution.

Onsite Client Training Travel to client sites to deliver hands‑on training sessions on software platforms and AV/events technology. Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and documentation tailored to client needs. Build strong client relationships through consultative, in‑person engagement. Identify opportunities to improve the client experience and relay feedback to internal teams.

In‑Office Equipment Testing Report to the Philadelphia office to assist in testing, configuration, and quality assurance of AV and events technology equipment ahead of deployments. Collaborate with internal events and technical teams to ensure equipment is event ready. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues identified during testing cycles. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required 1–3 years of experience in a technical support, helpdesk, or client‑facing technology role. Familiarity with AV systems, events technology, or production environments. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical clients. Comfortable with occasional travel (approximately once per month).

Preferred Experience with ticketing/CRM platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot). Knowledge of event production workflows or live event environments. CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications a plus.
