Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Insurance Account Manager to serve as the primary client contact, manage service needs, and present tailored insurance solutions. The role involves coordinating with the account management team, conducting claims reviews, and supporting renewal strategies.

Responsibilities include risk analysis, document review, and building carrier relationships in the construction insurance marketplace, with travel for meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Strong technical property and casualty knowledge.
• Typically 2 to 5 years of industry experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Maintain insurance license and continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact and manage client service needs.
• Present custom solutions to clients and prospects.
• Communicate client needs to the account management team and coordinate client services.
• Coordinate claims reviews, training, kickoff, stewardship, and renewal strategy meetings.
• Analyze client risk profiles and develop marketing strategies with the team and client.
• Analyze client documents and recommend changes or amendments.
• Cultivate local carrier relationships in the construction insurance marketplace.
• Participate in off-site carrier, client, and prospect meetings as required.
• Conduct research and compile information into presentation format.
• Assist with training and overseeing Account Associates.
• Review and process endorsements, certificates, policy audits, notices of cancellation, renewals, quotes, and invoices.
• Bind insurance coverages, address binding subjectivities, and summarize proposals post binding.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of exposures, losses, premiums, rates, collateral, modifications, and deductibles.
