Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services in Colorado is hiring a Client Services Technician for the sample receiving department of our environmental testing laboratory. You will drive to client offices to pick up samples, unload and triage them, unpack and assemble kits, and maintain supplies. Training is provided.

Required are a high school diploma and a valid driver's license, plus strong customer service skills and comfort working in lab and office settings with PPE. Join a mission to protect communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong preference towards candidates with previous customer service, shipping, or warehouse experience.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required. We’ll train you!
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods, work around strong odors, and wear required PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — all provided by Pace®)

Responsibilities

• Drive to client offices and job sites to pick up samples and drop off supplies.
• Unload and receive client samples.
• Triage client samples. Determine what type of samples are received.
• Unpack and repack coolers for shipment to other labs.
• Assemble client sample kits according to guidelines and instructions.
• Maintain and stock supplies to meet client sample kit demands.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining the office.
