Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is hiring a Client Services Technician to join our environmental testing lab. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with a starting pay of $18.00 per hour.

Training will be provided to help you grow in laboratory sciences and contribute to our mission to protect health and safety. You’ll handle glassware, order processing via LIMS, and ensure orders are packaged and delivered accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Glassware Management: accurately select glassware from inventory and attach labels.
• Order Processing: use LIMS to maintain records and ensure accuracy in order prep.
• Packaging and Delivery: prepare and pack orders for delivery.
• Quality Control: verify order accuracy and meet specifications before dispatch.
• Safety and Cleanliness: maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Glassware Management: Accurately select glassware from inventory based on customer orders and attach appropriate labels.
• Order Processing: Use the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to maintain detailed records of all orders and ensure accuracy in order preparation and packing.
• Packaging and Delivery: Prepare and pack orders efficiently for delivery, ensuring all items are securely packaged.
• Quality Control: Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure they meet the required specifications before dispatching.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

No prior experience required; however, experience with Microsoft Outlook is a plus.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle glassware and other materials carefully.
• Familiarity with inventory management and order processing systems is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
