Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is hiring a Client Services Technician in Tonawanda, NY. This full-time role supports the bottle prep portion of our logistics network and provides training to help you grow a career in environmental science with Pace.

You will process orders, manage glassware, pack shipments, and ensure quality control while maintaining a safe, efficient workspace. Join us to contribute to safe, healthy communities and gain experience in a nationally recognized lab services

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required; relevant Microsoft Outlook experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with glassware and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Glassware management with accurate labeling from inventory.
• Use LIMS to maintain order records and ensure accuracy in packing.
• Prepare and pack orders efficiently for delivery.
• Verify order accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Join us as a Client Services Technician, where you'll put your love of science to work in the bottle prep department of our logistics network here at Pace.

You’ll receive all the training you need to successfully take on this role and continue building an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace.

Key Responsibilities

• Glassware Management: Accurately select glassware from inventory based on customer orders and attach appropriate labels.
• Order Processing: Use the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to maintain detailed records of all orders and ensure accuracy in order preparation and packing.
• Packaging and Delivery: Prepare and pack orders efficiently for delivery, ensuring all items are securely packaged.
• Quality Control: Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure they meet the required specifications before dispatch.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: No prior experience required; however, experience with Microsoft Outlook is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle glassware and other materials carefully.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and order processing systems is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
