Job summary

Jobtailor in Minnesota is seeking a Supervisory Client Services Manager to lead a team supporting print orders and customer inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate responses and professional service.

You will partner with production, scheduling, bindery, materials, sales, and marketing to resolve customer concerns, manage order requirements, and drive continuous improvement in experience and efficiency. This role also requires experience with SAP and lean fulfillment operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3–5 years of related manufacturing experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Proven supervisory skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems and SAP preferred.
• Experience with lean manufacturing techniques or fulfillment operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of client service representatives, coaching and guiding priorities and customer needs.
• Direct daily client service activities for print orders, status, specs, materials, timelines, delivery, pricing, and issue resolution.
• Monitor workflow, accounts, inquiries, and print job support to meet deadlines and keep customers informed.
• Collaborate with production, scheduling, bindery, materials, sales, and marketing to resolve issues and ensure order success.
• Identify and resolve complex service and production issues, escalating when needed with follow-through.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance customer experience, workflow efficiency, and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Supervising a team of Client Service Representatives and/or related print operations support employees by providing work direction, coaching, feedback, and ongoing communication about customer needs, business priorities, and operational goals
• Directing daily client service activities to ensure timely, accurate, and professional responses to customer inquiries related to print orders, job status, specifications, materials, timelines, delivery expectations, pricing, and issue resolution
• Monitoring client service workflow, assigned accounts, open inquiries, and print job support activities to help ensure deadlines are met and customers are proactively informed
• Partnering with production, scheduling, bindery, materials, sales, marketing, and other internal departments to resolve customer concerns, clarify job requirements, and support successful execution of production orders
• Identifying and resolving complex client service, production support, order management, and communication issues; escalating matters as needed while ensuring appropriate follow-through
• Leading and participating in continuous improvement projects focused on customer experience, workflow efficiency, service quality, data accuracy, and operational effectiveness

Requirements
